Perfectly golden and pillowy soft, this French toast is stuffed with molten, silky Strawberry & Macadamia Spread. Decadent, generous and unapologetically luxurious.
Ingredients
How to Make Strawberry & Macadamia Stuffed French Toast
1. Assemble the toast
Spread a generous dollop of Strawberry & Macadamia Spread between two slices of bread.
Press gently to seal and trim crusts for neat edges.
Repeat with remaining slices.
2. Make the egg mixture
In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and salt until smooth.
3. Dip and cook
Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, soaking just long enough to soften without falling apart.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat with a little butter.
Cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crisp, browning the edges too.
4. Serve
Slice in half. Top with extra Strawberry & Macadamia Spread, fresh strawberries and a dusting of icing sugar.
Serve warm — the centre should be soft, creamy and just slightly gooey.
Tips for the Perfect Centre
- Don’t oversoak
- Keep heat medium (not high)
- Use slightly stale bread
- Press edges gently to seal
Variations
Try swapping the filling for:
- Crispy Pistachio Spread
- Choc Hazelnut Crunch
- Salted Caramel
Each melts differently and gives a completely different finish.
Storage
Best eaten fresh.
You can assemble ahead and refrigerate for a few hours before cooking, but texture is best same day.
